Monopoly acquires for it's own investment account, as well as it represents select private equity funds and qualified investors actively acquiring distressed and below replacement cost assets nationwide; with particular emphisis on: Florida, Southeast U.S., Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Arizona, Nevada and California
Before closing an acquisition, Monopoly or the acquiring entity conducts an extensive due diligence review on each prospective property, including local market research and competition, land use review, development cost, demand and absorbtion, engineering, environmental evaluations, and legal review. Once closed, each site is repositioned, managed and maintained in a ready-to-use state, with periodic physical inspections, infrastructure improvements, security, and income management.
