Monopoly Group was founded in 1987 by Simon C. Lipton with the intention of acquiring land and enhancing its value. With a group of investors, Monopoly partners purchased several large tracts of land in South Florida and successfully zoned and marketed the properties for residential developments. Throughout the years, we have gained substantial expertise in the areas of: land acquisition, land assemblages, residential development, marketing, planning, zoning, investment properties and Brokering. We have successfully orchestrated the sale, and/or acquisition of many complicated and creative real estate transactions. Monopoly has sold to, and/or represents many of the nation’s largest home builders including: Centex Homes, Lennar Corporation, D.R. Horton, and Pulte
Monopoly Group's primary business interest is: land acquisition, residential development, land banking (Lipton Land Holdings, Corp.), commercial properties, advisory and brokerage. Since our inception in 1987, Monopoly through associated entities and partnerships, has been involved in the Acquisition, Syndication, Management, Planning-Development, Sale and Brokerage of over $900 million of real estate; comprising the following asset classes: land, residential development, office, retail, and hospitality.
Two of our high profile land assembledges in South Palm Beach County became the prestigious country club communities: The Polo Club of Boca Raton and Polo Trace Golf and Tennis Club.
